Pet Retail Store Manager

Lead pet retail operations in Westlock, Alberta, using customer service expertise and team coaching to support Pet Parents and their animals.

As Store Manager, you will develop employees while helping customers choose nutrition and supplies for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and small animals. You will uphold operational standards, coordinate store activities, and support business results. The Pet Valu family includes Pet Valu, Paulmac’s Pet Food, Bosley’s, Tisol, and Total Pet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach employees on sales techniques and customer service
• Recruit, schedule, train, supervise, and assign team tasks
• Maintain customer service standards and community relationships
• Coordinate orders, inventory, audits, repairs, and paperwork
• Coordinate staff efforts to achieve targeted business results

Requirements:

• Minimum two years customer service and retail management experience
• Enthusiasm for learning and growth in pet care
• Strong customer service skills and friendly personality
• Availability for scheduled weekends and evenings
• Working knowledge of POS systems and reliable transportation
