Hospital Operations Nursing Leader

Coordinate hospital operations, staffing, and patient safety as Site Leader with Fraser Health at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. Critical decisions shape care delivery.

This Site Leader position oversees Regional Hospital care after hours, on weekends, and as assigned. You will guide Patient Care Coordinators and Charge Nurses, assess service interfaces, coordinate resources, and support patient placement. The work includes policy participation, emergency preparedness, staff learning, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate hospital operations under established care standards
• Make decisions about beds, access, and patient placement
• Ensure staffing resources support safe patient care
• Collaborate with Access Coordinator and BC Bedline
• Implement safety, fire, evacuation, and emergency procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an approved school
• Five years’ recent, relevant acute care experience
• Two years’ supervisory or administrative capacity experience
• Current practicing registration with BCCNM
• Ability to plan, prioritize, teach, and communicate effectively
