This casual healthcare position supports the Laboratory team alongside skilled healthcare professionals. Duties include appointment scheduling, computer entry, patient registration, and sample processing. Workdays are Monday to Friday, 07:15 to 15:15, with hours ranging from 0 to 37.5 weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments and complete computer entry
• Register patients and enter test information into the LIS
• Receive, process, and centrifuge patient samples
• Package samples for send-out following transportation procedures
• Maintain laboratory records, inventory, and supplies

Requirements:

• Ability to perform clerical and receptionist duties
• Ability to follow established laboratory procedures
• Ability to prioritize workflow and prepare samples
• Ability to maintain accurate laboratory records
• Availability for casual shifts on short notice
