Job description
Care for seniors overnight through respectful personal assistance, safety monitoring, and emergency response. Work from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
The Guest Attendant reports to the Health and Wellness Manager or designate while supporting residents’ physical and personal care needs. You will follow care plans, monitor changes, document Activities of Daily Living, and help protect resident confidentiality. The schedule totals 30 hours bi-weekly across specified Monday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sensitive personal care aligned with resident care plans
- Monitor residents and respond to medical emergencies
- Follow health and safety procedures throughout the home
- Assist with admissions, discharges, dining, and recreational activities
- Complete medication training and assist with administration
Requirements:
- Recognized Personal Support Worker program completion
- Understanding of nursing, health, and wellness processes
- Willingness to update regulatory and practice knowledge
- Effective oral and written communication abilities
- Clear vulnerable sector screening, testing, and supervisory references
