Metal Buffer & Grinder at Savaria

Join Savaria's day shift team as a Metal Buffer and Grinder, dedicated to enhancing mobility solutions. Operate hand tools, polish materials, and support elevator assembly on weekdays.
Savaria is looking for a skilled Metal Buffer and Grinder to work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Your role will focus on polishing aluminum and brass, as well as handling electrical sub-assembly tasks for elevator models. Ideal candidates will have experience with hand tools and teamwork, contributing to quality and efficiency in elevator production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and polish metal parts using grinders and files
• Create packing slips for the secondary process
• Record completed work orders accurately
• Assist with electrical sub-assembly as needed
• Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs without assistance
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• 2-3 years assembly experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration
