Support student transportation in Cornwall, Ontario, as an Occasional Driver with First Student and industry-leading technology guiding daily routes.

This Occasional School Bus Driver position focuses on safely transporting students between school and home. First Student provides training, while drivers complete vehicle inspections and assist with boarding and exiting. Additional charter route opportunities are available, alongside guaranteed hours and a child ride along program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school
• Follow daily routes using industry-leading technology
• Prioritize vehicle maintenance through required inspections
• Support students during bus boarding and exiting

Requirements:

• Communicate effectively with students and others
• Be at least 21 years old
• Hold a valid driver's license for one year
• Undergo Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks
• Complete First Student's training program

Use communication, safe driving, and inspection practices to support First Student students throughout Cornwall transportation routes.
