Medical Editor AMA FDA Compliance

Apply medical editing expertise at BGBx, maintaining factual accuracy and AMA style for pharmaceutical and life science marketing materials. Work Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM ET.

The Medical Editor protects editorial integrity across assigned accounts and reports to an Editorial Supervisor. You will fact-check scientific data, apply client style, follow FDA rules, and ensure grammatical accuracy. The role also supports after-hours and weekend editorial coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit marketing materials for accuracy, style, grammar, and consistency
• Fact-check scientific and medical copy against source data
• Review formatting, visual layout, and editorial changes
• Create and maintain comprehensive account style guides
• Track workloads, deadlines, time, and account status

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, life sciences, or related field
• Two to three years’ medical education experience preferred
• Familiarity with AMA style and FDA regulations
• Knowledge of proofing and editing symbols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication platforms
