Focus on SQL performance and reliable data systems at Hybrid Financial, working in person with engineers and an experienced DBA.
This Junior Database Administrator role supports the databases used by internal execution platforms serving financial-services operations. You will investigate slow queries, improve stored procedures, maintain indexes, and help protect data through reliable administration practices. The position suits someone with strong SQL fundamentals seeking deeper database expertise in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot database issues
- Optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Implement data integrity and reliability best practices
- Provide database coverage when the senior DBA is away
- Work with developers on application database usage
Requirements:
- Strong SQL knowledge, query optimization, and indexing experience
- Two to five years of database experience preferred
- Experience with MySQL databases
- Understanding of relational database design principles
- Clear communication when discussing and explaining problems
