Yard Logistics and Expediting Coordinator

Coordinate yard logistics and expediting services at MATRIX’s Yellowknife shop, using equipment operation and detailed freight preparation skills. Support safe, ready operations daily.

This experienced Yard and Expediting Coordinator supports yard organization, asset inventory, freight preparation, equipment operation, and general upkeep. The position reports to the Northern Operations Manager and works with Operations, Logistics, Expediting, and Buying functions. Duties include shipment preparation, transportation, and asset coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain organized, clean, safe, operationally ready yard and shop areas
• Track company assets, equipment, supplies, and stored materials
• Load, unload, place, and secure trucks and trailers
• Operate telehandlers, loaders, forklifts, and other yard equipment
• Prepare loads, manifests, and cargo for air freight

Requirements:

• Reliable, adaptable, self-motivated, and safety-minded work approach
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
• Detail orientation, multitasking ability, and effective communication
• Computer literacy and Microsoft Office experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver abstract
