Machine Vision Engineer at Ascension Automation

Ascension Automation Solutions is seeking a skilled Vision Engineer. In this role, you will develop and maintain vision processes, debug inspection algorithms, and analyze process data for continuous performance improvement. You will also be involved in onsite commissioning of vision solutions in customer locations across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain machine vision processes and hardware
• Create inspection algorithms for robots and autonomous systems
• Analyze process data to enhance functionality
• Produce user-friendly technical documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve vision system issues
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Automation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• 1-2 years’ experience with vision equipment programming
• Knowledge of PLCs, electronics, and automation
• Programming skills in Java, C++, or Python
• Strong analytical skills and communication abilities
