Sport Management Instructor

Teach Managing Human Resources in Sport Organizations at Brock University, drawing on sport management expertise and effective undergraduate instruction. Scheduled campus teaching is required as needed.

This part-time Instructor appointment covers SPMA3P21 Managing Human Resources in Sport Organizations. The Tuesday lecture runs from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., with responsibility for the first seminar or lab hour. Duties include student contact, preparation, consultation, grading, and course administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver scheduled lectures and student contact time
• Prepare lectures and course materials
• Consult with students about course learning
• Mark and grade student work
• Manage grade appeals and academic dishonesty cases

Requirements:

• PhD in Sport Management or related discipline preferred
• Prior teaching or research experience in this topic
• Relevant sport management work or industry experience
• Effective undergraduate university teaching evidence
• Letters of reference or course evaluations
