Job description
Kroll pharmacy software expertise powers this remote Pharmacy Assistant L2 position at CareRx, supporting medication deliveries for LTC Homes and Retirement Communities.
As a Pharmacy Assistant L2, you will support CareRx’s Pharmacy team and daily operations under Pharmacy Standards of Practice. Your work includes prescription data entry, medication delivery organization, nurse communications, and billing adjudications. Initial training takes place in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter prescriptions and client information in Kroll software
- Process refill prescriptions within Kroll pharmacy software
- Respond to nurses’ phone inquiries with strong customer service
- Complete third-party adjudications for prescription billing
- Deliver labels before scheduled medication delivery times
Requirements:
- Kroll and eMAR systems knowledge, including Point Click Care
- Experience or accredited Pharmacy Assistant certification preferred
- Microsoft Office software competency
- PACMed and PACVision machine operation ability
- Strong numeracy, organization, communication, and multitasking skills
