Assistant Construction Project Manager Ontario

Manage construction schedules, budgets, and risks as an Assistant Project Manager with EBC’s Ontario Building Division. This role is based near Napanee.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will help deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within contract requirements. The position uses technical drawing interpretation, cost analysis, scheduling, and commercial contract knowledge. EBC’s building team works across offices, hospitals, research centers, educational institutions, residential buildings, and other facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting
• Coordinate project operations, budgets, scope, and contract changes
• Prepare cost status reports, forecasts, budgets, and progress billings
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and monitor corrective action
• Implement safety and quality assurance programs across project activities

Requirements:

• Three to five years of industry experience
• Technical training, related experience, or professional accreditation
• Ability to read and interpret technical design drawings
• Scheduling, computer, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Cost control, reporting, and commercial contracts knowledge
