Fraser Valley Fire Protection seeks a Backflow Assembly Tester for full-time, permanent service work. You will inspect, maintain, repair, and rebuild assemblies at commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-residential properties. The work supports potable water protection and municipal cross-connection requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and inspect backflow prevention assemblies
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild assemblies
• Diagnose failures and recommend repairs or replacements
• Complete accurate reports for customers and municipalities
• Communicate findings and provide professional customer service

Requirements:

• Valid BCWWA Backflow Assembly Tester certification
• Knowledge of BC Plumbing Code requirements
• Understanding of municipal cross-connection control bylaws
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Ability to perform physical work at various sites
