Account Manager Applications Engineer

Apply mechanical, electrical, and mechatronics expertise as an Account Manager Applications Engineer with Eclipse Automation in Cambridge, Ontario, working on-site.

This full-time sales team position develops proposals and supports Sales Account Managers for custom automated manufacturing solutions. You will review customer RFQs, create layouts, coordinate technical input, estimate costs, and support customer designs. The work connects engineering, suppliers, assembly, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in customer RFQ review meetings on-site or in-house
• Prepare cell and equipment layout drawings for quotations
• Coordinate technical assistance across engineering and manufacturing groups
• Obtain supplier estimates for materials and equipment costs
• Prepare draft budgets and quotation proposals for review

Requirements:

• University degree or college diploma in engineering or equivalent experience
• Expertise with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls
• Knowledge of CSA, ANSI, and CE standards
• Availability for travel up to 30% of time

Support Eclipse Automation proposals through technical coordination, cost estimating, customer design support, and application engineering expertise.
