Senior Accountant - Implementation Project - REMOTE

Your New Company A rapidly expanding, private equity-backed organization that is growing through strategic acquisitions are seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of the accounting function for the South Florida operation.

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations for the Florida business.
Oversee month-end close and financial reporting activities.
Ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant.
Lead the transition from QuickBooks to Foundation software.
Evaluate and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
Collaborate with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Work alongside an established accounting team, including AP, AR, and accounting support staff.
Assist with acquisition integration activities and future growth initiatives.

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
~4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
~ Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
~ Experience managing full-cycle accounting and month-end close.
~ Strong systems aptitude and process improvement mindset.
~ Experience with QuickBooks, Foundation, or ERP implementations is highly preferred.
