Certified Pharmacy Technician

To support the VA Meds by Mail program, the contract Certified Pharmacy Technician - WY will process prescriptions, handle call center inquiries, and complete pharmacy clerical work remotely for Veterans' families and CHAMPVA beneficiaries. Key responsibilities Enter prescription data accurately in VA pharmacy information systems Review and process external prescriptions according to standard operating procedures Answer and triage call center inquiries from patients, caregivers, and provider offices Required qualifications Current, unrestricted pharmacy technician certification from PTCB (CPhT) or NHA (ExCPT) High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently Computer proficiency for data entry and navigating pharmacy systems Must reside within 50 miles of the VA Meds by Mail facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming
