You will play a central role in procuring consumables, supplies, and MRO items, coordinating product and service vendors, and following up on orders, service calls, and invoices.

What is in it for you:

• Create purchase orders in QuickBooks Online and provide vendors with the information required to deliver goods or perform services.

• Follow up on purchase orders, confirmations, deliveries, lead times, and vendor commitments.

• Monitor supply levels and contribute to the implementation of simple and effective replenishment methods, including Kanban when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information regarding vendors, quotations, contracts, service agreements, purchase orders, and completed purchases.

• Provide Accounting with purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and supporting documentation required to process purchases and expenses.

• Verify consistency between approved quotations, purchase orders, goods or services received, and vendor invoices.

• Work with the Accounting Technician to resolve discrepancies involving purchase orders, invoices, and supporting documentation.

• Apply general accounting principles required for the proper processing of purchases, expenses, vendors, and cost centres.
