Reach Truck Operator

Adecco is currently hiring a Reach Truck Operator for a busy warehouse operation in Brantford, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in forklift operation, warehousing, distribution, inventory management, order picking, and logistics.

As a Reach Truck Operator, you will safely operate a Crown stand-up reach truck to move, store, and retrieve inventory while supporting shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.

• Pay Rate: $21.50/hour + premium

• Location: Brantford, ON

• Shift:

  • Day: 7AM - 3PM

  • Afternoon: 3PM - 11PM

  • Night: 11PM - 7AM | Open for flexible days

• Job type: Temporary with possibility of permanence | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Crown stand-up reach truck safely and efficiently.

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.

• Put away inventory in high-bay and narrow-aisle racking locations.

• Perform order picking, replenishment, and inventory movement tasks.

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.

• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.

• Assist with shipping, receiving, cycle counts, and general warehouse duties.

• Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize product damage.

• Follow all workplace health and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of reach truck experience, preferably operating Crown equipment.

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics environment.

• Comfortable working at heights and in narrow-aisle racking systems.

• Experience using RF scanners and WMS systems is an asset.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) when required.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
