Job Description

Select People Solutions is seeking reliable, hardworking Yard Labourers / Material Handlers for ongoing temporary opportunity in Southern Alberta. This is a physically demanding position involving outdoor labour, manual loading and unloading, and general material handling.
The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, is comfortable working outdoors, and has a strong work ethic.

Compensation & Hours:
• Compensation: $19–$21/hour
• Schedule: Schedule varies according to company demands. Must have open availability

Position Summary:
• Manually load and unload materials
• Perform repetitive lifting and physically demanding labour throughout the shift.
• Assist with sorting, moving, and organizing materials.
• Perform general outdoor labour duties in an organics processing facility.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work effectively with team members to complete daily tasks.
Required Qualifications:
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including repetitive lifting throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in an industrial environment.
• Willingness to wear required PPE, including a protective mask when necessary
Bonus Points For:
• Previous experience in general labour, material handling, or warehouse operations.
• Previous experience in outdoor industrial or processing environments.
