Junior Corporate Accountant

Junior Corporate Accountant – ContractLocation: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)
Pay Rate: $25.00–$30.00/hour
Contract Duration: 5 months and 29 days
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP – Early November 2026 Fuze HR Solutions is currently recruiting a Junior Corporate Accountant for a well-established, global organization in the consumer goods industry, located in downtown Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain valuable corporate accounting experience within a collaborative finance team. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and exposure to fixed assets, taxation, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with fixed asset capitalization, CAPEX tracking, and reconciliations.
• Support federal and provincial tax filings, including HST/GST, corporate taxes, and withholding taxes.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and supporting financial schedules.
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, and government reporting requirements.
• Support accounts payable coding, intercompany billing, and general accounting activities.
• Work closely with senior team members to ensure accurate and timely financial processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field – required.
• Approximately 6 months to 1+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Foundational knowledge of fixed assets and taxation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• SAP or other ERP experience is an asset.
• CPA enrollment or progress toward designation is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a structured, team-oriented environment.
