Job description
Great opportunity for an immediately available AR Specialist to join a very successful and well-established international company in an exciting industry.
This is a 2-month contract to fill in for someone currently on leave.
Who- the Company:
Our client, an industry leader offers an inspiring and dynamic work environment focused on teamwork, commitment and leadership.
What- the Role:
- Primary focus: collections for the freight forwarding team
- 95 accounts total, but only 20 are highly active and need hands-on support
- Communication: email-first, phone calls as needed; also liaising with internal sales team
- Urgency driven by month end and year end collections pressure
- Team structure: 4 AR specialists total (including this role), plus a supervisor and manager
Who- the Candidate:
- Experience: 3+ years in collections
- Software: Oracle (training provided; any sophisticated ERP background acceptable)
- Excel: VLOOKUPs and basic formulas sufficient
How Much:
$32-36/hr + 4% vacation pay.
Where:
Burnaby, 5 days’ onsite, along Skytrain line.
