Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale data center and network infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASR routers, Arista switches, advanced routing and switching, and network security. The role involves collaborating with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise data center network solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and critical incidents.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on network projects.

• Develop network architecture documents, technical designs, and implementation plans.

• Maintain network diagrams, IP addressing plans, and configuration templates.

• Support network migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.

• Participate in network design reviews, change planning, and implementation activities.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.

• Act as an escalation point for major network incidents and outages.

• Ensure network solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in enterprise data center networking.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASR routers, and Arista switches.

• Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies, including:

  • BGP, OSPF, and TCP/IP

  • VLANs and multilayer switching

  • VXLAN and leaf-spine architecture

• Experience with network security concepts and multi-tier security architectures.

• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SD-WAN, DMVPN, MPLS, and WAN technologies.

• Network automation using Python and/or Ansible.

• Public cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, VMware, and storage networking.

• Familiarity with DNA Center, Wireshark, Infoblox, Splunk, and SevOne.

• CCIE certification or equivalent networking certification preferred.
