Nanny / Family Assistant – Chestermere, Alberta | $30/hour Family in Chestermere seeking a reliable, organized, and caring nanny/family assistant to help with my two school-aged boys and the day-to-day running of our household. I’m looking for someone dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative without needing constant direction. Driving to the Sunalta area for school drop-off/pick is a key part of this position. Must have a reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving. Responsibilities include: • School drop-offs and pick-ups, including safely transporting the children to and from school in Calgary. • Helping the children follow their morning routines, including getting dressed, eating breakfast, taking their medications as directed, packing lunches, and getting ready for school on time. • Providing gentle but consistent guidance, encouragement, and structure to help the children stay on schedule. • General housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, tidying common areas, and keeping the home organized. • Laundry, lots of laundry! including washing, folding, and putting clothing away. • Meal preparation, including preparing simple, nutritious family meals and helping with lunches. • Kitchen cleaning, dishes, and general household upkeep. • Providing supervision and support for the children when they are home. Our ideal candidate: • Has a valid driver’s licence, a reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record. • Is punctual, dependable, and comfortable managing school transportation independently. • Is patient, understanding, and able to provide clear expectations and consistent routines. • Is organized, self-motivated, and able to recognize what needs to be done without constant reminders. • Has excellent communication skills • Can provide references and a satisfactory background check.
