Part-Time Bartender-PET

Position Summary:

Thisposition isresponsible formixing and serving of beverages, while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees and guests. Ensurecompliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulationsandallapplicablelaws,policies,andprocedures. UnderthesupervisionofF&B Manager or Supervisor this role positively contributes to an entrepreneurial culture that is nimble, energized, growth oriented, to self-motivateandleadbyexample.Aboveallelse,mustbealignedwith, and promote, ShorelinesCasinoscultureandphilosophyofcreatinga great, memorableexperienceforourguests and colleagues.

Primary Responsibilities

• Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service
• Helps create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day
• Participates in the implementation of the departmental strategic plans
• Selling food and beverage with an upbeat and positive attitude
• Takes guests orders and makes recommendations
• Prepares beverages
• Serves the guests and checks to ensure satisfaction
• Resolves guests issues or asks for management assistance if required
• Presents bills upon request and takes payments
• Cleans tables or counters and re-stocks bar when required
• Covers other bartender’s sections if required
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Contributes toward workplace health, safety, and wellness initiatives
• Contributes to a team of engaged colleagues who care passionately about the business, site operations, and delivering a great guest experience
• Anticipates operational and service issues before they escalate, trouble-shoots and resolves guest concerns before they are complaints.
• Performsotherdutiesasassignedordirected and assist other co-workers as needed

Education & Qualification Requirements

• Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed

• Bartending and serving experience preferred

• Customer service experience

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
