Job description
Recruiter (Behavioral Health)
Position Type: Full-Time Remote Contractor
Schedule: US Central Standard Time (CST / Houston) Alignment
Location: Remote (LATAM Preferred for Bilingual Capabilities)
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and relentless Recruiter (Behavioral Health) to own our end-to-end clinical recruitment pipeline.
Because many of our clients, candidates, and therapy technicians are Spanish-speaking, flawless bilingual fluency in English (with a neutral accent) and Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities
1. High-Volume Sourcing & Applicant Triage (~35%)
- Job Posting Management: Create, update, and manage job advertisements across major recruitment portals (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, localized healthcare boards).
- Direct Sourcing & Pipeline Management: Actively search for active and passive candidates (Behavior Technicians, Direct Support Professionals) to maintain a steady flow of qualified applicants.
- Resume Screening: Review inbound applications against baseline requirements, prioritizing candidates with ABA experience or active certification credentials.
2. Screening, Interviewing & Verification (~40%)
- Candidate Phone/Video Screenings: Conduct energetic, professional preliminary phone and video interviews in both English and Spanish to assess candidate fit, availability, and alignment with our clinical values.
- Interview Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule secondary interviews between top candidates and clinical leadership/center directors.
- Certification Verification: Access state and national credentialing boards (e.g., BACB registry) to verify active Behavior Technician certifications (RBTs) where applicable.
- Reference & Background Audits: Perform thorough professional reference checks and initiate pre-employment compliance steps prior to formal offer extension.
3. Pre-Boarding & Onboarding Administration (~25%)
- Offer Letters & Paperwork Execution: Issue official offer packages, manage tax/payroll setup documents, and verify completion of pre-employment onboarding paperwork.
- Training Hand-off: Coordinate onboarding timelines so new hires seamlessly transition into our clinical training team on Day 1.
- Recruitment Reporting: Track daily/weekly recruitment metrics (screenings completed, interviews scheduled, offer acceptance rates) to ensure monthly hiring goals (10+ hires/month) are consistently met.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- Recruitment / HR Experience: 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in high-volume recruitment, candidate screening, and onboarding coordination (healthcare, ABA, home health, or high-turnover service sectors preferred).
- Bilingual Fluency: Exceptional written and spoken command of both English (neutral, professional accent) and Spanish. Comfortable conducting formal candidate interviews in both languages.
- High-Volume Drive: Resilient, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset capable of managing high-volume candidate queues and hitting consistent weekly hire targets.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience navigating Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job portals (Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter), Google Workspace, and online verification registries.
- Schedule Alignment: Full-time availability aligned with US Central Standard Time (CST) business hours.
Preferred (Big Pluses)
- Experience recruiting within Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), autism therapy, or pediatric healthcare.
- Prior experience conducting pre-employment reference checks and regulatory credential verifications.
