Teamcenter PLM Consultant – Integration & Migration

Salary: $44,400 - 135,000 per year

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM implementation, integration, data migration, or technical consulting, with demonstrated expertise in at least one specialization: Teamcenter integration/AIG or data migration.
• Understanding of Teamcenter architecture, data models, business objects, product structures, and workflows.
• For integration roles: experience with AIG/T4x, including T4EA, T4S, T4O, or related frameworks; enterprise integrations such as SAP, ERP, MES, CAD, or ECAD; and REST APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, middleware, data mapping, synchronization, monitoring, and error handling.
• For migration roles: experience with legacy PLM-to-Teamcenter migration, migration utilities such as CSV2TCXML, TC_IMPORT, or PLM XML, ETL, SQL, source-to-target mapping, transformation, validation, and Teamcenter data such as Items, Revisions, BOMs, Documents, and CAD files.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Preferred: experience with Teamcenter BMIDE, ITK, SOA, Active Workspace, SAP ECC/S/4HANA, or other enterprise integrations.
• Preferred: experience migrating from Agile PLM, DesignCentral, SolidWorks PDM Vault, Autodesk Vault, Altium 365, SharePoint, or Documentum.
• Preferred: experience with large-scale enterprise PLM implementations, modernization, or transformation projects, and familiarity with Teamcenter X, Siemens Xcelerator, or cloud-based PLM environments.
• Expertise in both integration and migration is an advantage, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, implement, and support Siemens Teamcenter enterprise integrations.
• Configure and customize AIG, including T4EA, T4S, T4O, and related integration frameworks; design integration pipelines, data mappings, transfer modes, synchronization rules, and jobs.
• Integrate Teamcenter with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, ERP, MES, ALM, QMS, CAD, ECAD, and other enterprise applications using APIs, web services, and middleware.
• Define data transformations, lifecycle synchronization, reconciliation, monitoring, security, authentication, transaction monitoring, error handling, and audit controls.
• Support Teamcenter CAD integration and engineering data exchange; troubleshoot integration and synchronization issues and optimize performance.
• Prepare integration architecture, technical specifications, mapping documents, and deployment procedures.
• Define and execute end-to-end migration strategies for Teamcenter PLM implementations; assess legacy PLM systems, source data, and migration requirements.
• Design source-to-target mappings for Teamcenter Items, Revisions, BOMs, Documents, CAD data, Workflows, and Classification Data.
• Develop and support ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, staging, validation, and loading using migration utilities such as CSV2TCXML, TC_IMPORT, PLM XML, and SQL scripts.
• Profile, cleanse, deduplicate, reconcile, and validate data, including migrations from legacy PLM systems such as Agile PLM and DesignCentral.
• Plan and conduct mock migrations, testing, production cutovers, rollback strategies, and post-migration support.
• Maintain data integrity, traceability, referential consistency, and auditability; troubleshoot migration errors and optimize migration processes.
• Prepare migration architecture, mapping specifications, validation reports, and cutover documentation.
• Contribute independently to complex Teamcenter implementations, resolve technical challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
