Millwright – Day Shift$40–$43/hour | 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. | 3 Weeks’ Vacation Are you a licensed 433A Millwright looking for a day shift opportunity with strong benefits and a supportive maintenance team? Our client in the electronics recycling industry is hiring a Millwright – Day Shift to maintain and repair industrial processing equipment while contributing to sustainability and responsible recycling. What you’ll be doing As the Millwright – Day Shift, you will troubleshoot equipment issues, complete preventive maintenance, and support safe, reliable production.

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, pumps, augers, shredders, granulators, blowers, piping, and material handling equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process water system issues.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery for repairs, inspections, and overhauls.
  • Complete lubrication, inspections, and other scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Install and assemble equipment using technical drawings, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Fabricate or modify parts using grinders, drill presses, saws, and welding equipment.
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and component replacement within your qualifications and company safety procedures.
  • Work with electricians and external contractors when advanced electrical support is required.
  • Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, and repair documentation.
  • Support spare parts inventory and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and safety.

What you bring The successful Millwright – Day Shift candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, a reliable approach to work, and a willingness to learn.

  • Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate of Qualification; Red Seal endorsement preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a licensed Millwright, with 5+ years preferred.
  • Industrial maintenance experience with conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and related processing equipment.
  • Experience using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Basic industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, maintenance documentation, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative maintenance team.
  • Flexibility to support weekend preventive maintenance when required.

Experience in recycling or manufacturing, including work with granulators, process water systems, motors, VFDs, sensors, photoelectric devices, and industrial control circuits, is an asset. Interested in the Millwright – Day Shift opportunity?
