SAP Business One Analyst (SAP B1)

Salary: $65,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on SAP Business One experience, including configuration and development rather than end-user-only use.
• Demonstrated experience enhancing SAP B1 modules and workflows, particularly for supply chain, logistics, and accounting.
• Experience with EDI and integrating SAP with external partners such as warehouses and customers.
• Strong data management skills, including data validation, data integrity, and creating SAP reports and dashboards.
• Ability to turn business requirements into practical SAP solutions and measurable outcomes.
• Experience mapping processes and creating standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• A hands-on, self-starting approach, with the ability to advance work while collaborating with our SAP team and consultants.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and distribution environments.
• Postsecondary education in information systems, supply chain, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Candidates must be currently authorized to work in Canada; Canadian experience is not required. Permanent residency or Canadian citizenship is preferred.
• Helpful additional experience includes importing and exporting raw materials and finished goods, SAP Business One certification, and working with external SAP consultants or implementation partners.
• Other helpful assets include SAP Business One SDK, SQL, or advanced reporting experience; replacing spreadsheet-based processes with ERP solutions; working in a fast-growing or evolving business; and familiarity with PLC data structures or MES platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day SAP Business One system health and serve as our dedicated in-house resource for the platform.
• Improve and extend SAP B1 modules and workflows, with a primary focus on supply chain, logistics, and accounting.
• Establish and maintain SAP as our trusted company-wide system of record, improving processes and reducing reliance on external data and spreadsheets.
• Lead integrations between SAP B1 and external partners, including warehouses, and improve, maintain, and expand customer EDI capabilities.
• Ensure raw materials and finished goods, including imports and exports, are accurately captured in relevant SAP modules.
• Safeguard data quality and integrity, and develop reports and dashboards from SAP data to inform operational and management decisions.
• Translate business needs into useful data outputs and measurable results.
• Map business processes to SAP capabilities and create and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Train users across departments, help them use SAP effectively, and provide guidance and troubleshooting as the go-to resource for SAP B1.
• Work under the direction of our Director of Systems and Integration and partner with external SAP consultants on larger technical builds.
