Job description

Our transportation industry client is seeking an OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors Consultant with prior implementation experience to provide product expertise and implementation guidance.

Join a project implementing OpenText Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors (eHXM). Working alongside the client’s architect, functional lead, business stakeholders, and implementation partner, this consultant will help internal teams understand the product’s capabilities and apply implementation best practices. The ideal candidate has previously implemented this specific solution and can draw on that experience to support requirements discussions, evaluate proposed approaches, and guide implementation decisions.

Initial 1-year contract in Montreal, QC. Fully remote candidates will be considered; however, local candidates able to work onsite will be prioritized. 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on OpenText xECM for SAP SuccessFactors throughout the implementation
  • Help business and technical stakeholders understand product capabilities, configuration options, and implementation considerations
  • Work with the client’s architect, functional lead, and implementation partner to assess requirements and review proposed solutions
  • Recommend implementation best practices based on previous OpenText xECM for SuccessFactors delivery experience
  • Support discussions around employee document management, workflows, access permissions, and integration with SuccessFactors
  • Identify product limitations, dependencies, and implementation risks, and recommend approaches to address them
  • Support issue resolution and knowledge transfer to strengthen internal teams’ understanding of the solution

Must Haves

  • Demonstrated experience implementing OpenText Extended ECM specifically for SAP SuccessFactors
  • Strong understanding of the product’s capabilities, implementation approach, and best practices
  • Experience translating business requirements into solution recommendations for employee document management
  • Ability to advise business stakeholders, architects, functional leads, and implementation partners on product decisions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and implementation trade-offs to different audiences

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting an organization’s internal team while collaborating with an external implementation partner
  • Solution architecture experience involving SAP or enterprise content management platforms
  • Experience with document migration, approval workflows, retention requirements, or access controls within OpenText xECM for SuccessFactors
  • Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) in SAP environments
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO)
