Job description
Our valued non-profit client is seeking a End User Device Specialist to support PC & mobile device configuration / deployments!
Initial 1-year contract with possibility of extension. 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday in Ottawa, ON (fully on-site).
Responsibilities:
- Perform Intune imaging, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Conduct hard drive wipes and prepare systems for redeployment or disposal
- Manage cellphone swaps and assist with smartphone setup and troubleshooting
- Handle local deskside support tickets and provide end-user assistance as needed
- Support inventory management and tracking of IT assets
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and organization of IT equipment
- Coordinate with IT team members to ensure smooth hardware refresh and deployment activities
Must-have- Skills
- Experience as a Deskside Support Technician, Technical Support Analyst, or comparable role
- Familiarity with mobile device setup (iOS and/or Android)
- Knowledge of hardware configuration and device imaging/deployment via Intune
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Intune, and Active Directory
Nice-to-have Skills
- Prior experience with ticketing systems (e.g., HEAT, ServiceNow, Jira)
- A+ Certification or equivalent technical certification
- Experience supporting Office and OneDrive environments
