Site Manager

Job description :

As a Site Manager, you will oversee all on-site operations for a major hydroelectric power plant refurbishment project. You will lead field teams and ensure successful project execution while meeting schedule, budget, HSE and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all site construction activities.
• Supervise 12–15 management and supervisory staff and 20–30 field workers.
• Ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Plan construction activities, establish priorities and proactively resolve operational challenges.
• Coordinate subcontractors and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide hands-on leadership and ensure efficient site operations.

Conditions: La Tuque project | Current schedule: 5 days/week, 10 hours/day | Approximately CAD $185/day living allowance or accommodation provided, subject to applicable arrangements.

Skills and qualifications :

• 10+ years of site management experience, ideally in hydroelectric projects.
• Strong background in heavy industrial construction, including power plants, mining, aluminum, refineries or manufacturing facilities.
• Proven leadership managing multidisciplinary and unionized teams.
• Strong planning, cost control and HSE management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, autonomy and results-driven approach.
• French proficiency is mandatory.
