CNC Programmer

Description:

Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models; Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software; Programming and adjusting the machine settings until the desired specifications are met; Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job; Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications; Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process; Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product; Training staff on the operation procedures; Creating instructions for operators/setup personnel; Checking completed programs by running simulations or tests; Analyzing and selecting feeds & speeds.

Qualifications:

• Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to read and interpret blueprints; Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
