Metal Worker – CNC

Our client in Oakville is looking for a metal worker to join their team on a full time basis!

Duties:
– Utilize aluminum CNC saw, hydraulic shear, drill press, break press & other metalwork tools to cut structural components as needed.
– Lay-out, position, secure & assembly aluminum metalwork products in accordance with production drawings & standard work instructions.
– Construct structural components from raw aluminum material including extrusion & plate aluminum.
– Inspect & measure fabricated components to ensure that they are within the specification provided in the drawings.
– Cut & prepare metalwork components to be consumed as volume stock.
– Analyzing the blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications of the components to be constructed.
– Using welding equipment to fuse structural components.

Requirements:
– Experience using a CNC machine
– Welding experience
– Able to read and interpret blueprints

Pay rate:
– $22/hour
– Weekly pay every Friday

Shift options:
– Day shift: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday
– Weekend Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m Friday/Saturday/Sunday
