Customer Service SpecialistRosemont General Store | Rosemont, OntarioFull-Time | 40 Hours per WeekCompensation: $17.95 per hourAbout the RoleRosemont General Store is looking for an energetic, friendly, and dependable Customer Service Specialist to join our team.This is a hands-on customer service role in a busy general store environment where retail and foodservice come together. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing great service, and is comfortable moving between different responsibilities throughout their shift.The ideal candidate has previous retail and foodservice experience, is Smart Serve Certified, and has the flexibility to work a full-time schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.What You'll DoProvide friendly, attentive service to customersAssist customers with purchases, questions, and general store needsOperate the point-of-sale system and accurately process transactionsSupport day-to-day retail and foodservice operationsAssist with stocking, merchandising, product displays, and maintaining store presentationHelp maintain clean, organized, and welcoming customer and work areasHandle food and beverage items safely and responsiblyWork collaboratively with other team members during busy periodsComplete opening, closing, and other general store duties as requiredProvide responsible alcohol service in accordance with Smart Serve requirementsWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Current Smart Serve CertificationPrevious experience in retail, foodservice, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environmentAvailability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per weekFlexible availability, including the ability to work a variety of shifts based on the needs of the businessStrong customer service and communication skillsDependable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a teamAble to stay organized and provide positive customer service in a busy environmentIdeally, you are someone who:Is energetic, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys interacting with customersIs looking for a stable full-time opportunityIs comfortable switching between retail and foodservice responsibilitiesTakes initiative and sees what needs to be doneValues being part of a small, collaborative teamCan make this position a consistent priority in your weekly scheduleWhy Join Rosemont General Store?This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety and community feel of a general store.
