At PwC, our people in cybersecurity focus on protecting organisations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. They work to identify vulnerabilities, develop secure systems, and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data. Those in application security at PwC will provide security services to development teams including code scanning, readiness testing, and penetration testing to enable application teams to build and deploy secure applications in production. You will utilise a risk‑based methodology and a "shift‑left" approach to engage early in the software development lifecycle.
As an SAP ABAP Analyst you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high‑quality client service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support, with guidance, executing SAP implementation, development, support, and other admin activities regarding SAP Finance and Controlling (FI‑CO).
- Document project requirements, provide input following clear functional specifications, and support in configuring the system accordingly.
- Create process flows in Microsoft Visio for the client’s proposed business processes.
- Support, with guidance, creating Process Definition Document / Design Document (PDD) and Business Process Procedure (BPP) for the solutions provided.
- Extend support to designated testing staff members in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing phases.
- Provide status updates in daily and weekly conference calls.
Qualifications & Skills
Security clearance is mandatory for all staff engaging on these assignments. Please review the Government of Canada website to ensure you meet eligibility requirements.Basic understanding of creating custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms using ABAP; basic knowledge of ABAP CDS views, AMDP, OData, REST / JSON, XML, or any programming language.SAP certification is considered an advantage.Interest in upskilling for a digital world, openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.Exceptional analytical capability and initiative; able to apply judgment to ask questions, provide feedback, and assess issues as they arise.Ability to deliver under pressure, possess a "can‑do" attitude, and operate within tight deadlines.Demonstrate self‑motivation and a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and development.Contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.Attention to detail and effective communication to deliver quality results.Effective problem‑solving skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.Independent, self‑starter taking responsibility for information processed for decisions and actions.Proven ability to think creatively and critically; troubleshoot critical issues and develop innovative solutions.Fluency in English and French is required to support or collaborate with English‑speaking clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at PwC Canada.Optional Skills
