Location: Pickering, ON

Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Night shifts, including 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious DZ Drivers to operate Rear Pack garbage trucks for waste collection operations in Pickering. Candidates must have direct Rear Pack driving experience and be comfortable working night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Rear Pack garbage truck safely and efficiently.

  • Follow assigned routes and complete waste collection on schedule.

  • Collect residential and commercial waste as required.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

  • Report vehicle issues and maintain accurate records.

  • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario DZ driver's licence.

  • Minimum 1 year of direct Rear Pack truck driving experience.

  • Clean driver's abstract and CVOR.

  • Availability to work night shifts, including 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.

  • Knowledge of waste collection procedures and safety practices.

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding duties when required.
