Senior Business Analyst with strong Agile experience to assist in the development of Enterprise

Our public sector client requires a Senior Business Analyst with strong Agile experience to be involved in the development and implementation of applications on both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for cloud and on-premise application initiatives.
• Develop user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, process maps, and product backlogs to support Agile delivery teams.
• Create business roadmaps that align strategic objectives with future-state business processes and technology solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and requirements validation to support solution design and implementation.
• Work closely with Agile and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle, supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and solution deployment.
• Analyze current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend future-state business solutions.
• Prepare business analysis documentation, decision records, and presentations while providing ongoing knowledge transfer to project stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

• Demonstrated Senior Business Analyst experience developing user stories, storyboards, business process models, roadmaps, and future-state business processes within Agile and DevOps environments.
• experience supporting the design, development, and implementation of applications on cloud infrastructure, legacy (on-premise) infrastructure, and Government of Canada projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, business analysis techniques, and the ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
