Senior Project Manager with Agile experience for the development of enterprise applications for

Our public sector client requires a Senior Project Manager with Agile experience to develop and implement applications on both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IT projects involving the modernization and delivery of cloud and legacy/on-premise applications, working with business, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
• Apply strong Agile Project Management practices and support Scrum teams with sprint planning, backlog management, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and impediment resolution.
• Develop and maintain key project artifacts, including Project Management Plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedules, project dashboards, status reports, risk registers, and deployment plans.
• Develop project roadmaps, schedules, milestones, resource plans, budgets, and forecasts while tracking scope, deliverables, dependencies, and progress.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, escalating and resolving issues to maintain delivery timelines and quality.
• Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams and provide guidance on Agile delivery, product management, digital transformation, and Government of Canada project management practices.

Must-Have Skills

• Senior Project Management experience delivering complex IT projects using Agile methodologies, with strong experience working in Scrum and/or Agile delivery teams and supporting Scrum Master activities.
• Proven ability to create and manage project artifacts, including project plans, WBS, schedules, dashboards, status reports, risk/issue logs, RAID logs, deployment plans, and project close-out documentation.
• Experience managing projects involving cloud and legacy/ on-premise applications, including coordination across business, technical, vendor, and government stakeholders.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, risk management, and problem-solving skills, with experience delivering projects within Government of Canada environments and applying government project management best practices.
