Job description
Our client has an immediate requirement for a Senior IT Business Analyst with experience supporting enterprise applications, system implementations, and application enhancements. Must have a strong understanding of IT environments and demonstrated experience working on finance-related projects.
Duration: 6 months with extensions
Start Date: ASAP
Work Environment: Hybrid – 3 days per week on-site
Hours: 35 hours/week
Must Have:
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT environments.
- Proven experience supporting or delivering finance-related IT projects.
- Strong experience developing detailed business requirements and project documentation.
- Experience working on complex, enterprise-level IT programs.
- Solid knowledge of BA methodologies, tools, process mapping, and gap analysis.
- Experience assessing system capabilities against business requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
Nice to Have:
- Experience developing end-user training materials and delivering training sessions.
- Experience with change management and organizational change management (OCM).
- Experience supporting system implementation, testing, and transition to operations.
- Familiarity with project governance, documentation standards, and SharePoint repositories.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and application requirements, workflows, use cases, and process models.
- Conduct gap and risk assessments to identify system limitations, business needs, and required changes.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to support solution delivery and application configuration.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, test plans, test cases, and project decisions.
- Develop training materials and deliver end-user and system administrator training.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, change management, and transition to operations.
- Ensure compliance with established IT project delivery methodologies, documentation standards, and organizational policies.
