Our public sector client is seeking a Senior UI/UX Consultant (Secret clearance, 10+ years) to lead the design of a Public Sector project using UI/UX research and design
Join a public sector initiative focused on increasing digital capacity for small and medium enterprises across Canada. This role leads research and design activities for the Canadian Digital Adoption Plan, including user research, usability testing, prototyping, and UX documentation. The consultant will support project delivery through stakeholder presentations, client engagement, and high-quality UX deliverables aligned with branding and style guidelines.
Contract, remote
Must Haves
- Secret clearance
- Experience conducting heuristic evaluations
- 10+ years in UI/UX consulting and design
- Degree or diploma in Communications, Web Design or similar
Nice to Have
- Valid UX certification
Responsibilities
- Gather user requirements and produce or update user story documentation and design specification
- Create prototypes and other UX deliverables in compliance with branding and style guidelines
- Plan and conduct user research
- Create usability testing plans and conduct usability testing sessions with clients and users
- Lead projects of limited scope or components of larger projects
- Present demos to stakeholders when necessary
- Meet with clients for project deliverables when requested
