Job description
E-Coat Process Technician - Newmarket, ON
Pay: Up to $34.71/hr + shift premiums ($0.75/hr afternoons, $0.90/hr nights)
Perks: benefits, pension, profit sharing, shift premiums
Shift: Rotating shifts: every 3 months
What You'll Do
- Monitor and maintain e-coat, wastewater, and conveyor systems
- Perform chemical/process testing and make process adjustments
- Conduct quality and performance testing on finished parts
- Troubleshoot and maintain process equipment
- Complete routine maintenance and equipment monitoring
- Support process reporting and maintain accurate records
What We're Looking For
- Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Technology, or combination of related education/experience
- 5+ years in e-coating, plating, chemical processing, or similar manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of e-coat processes and equipment
- SPC, Gage R&R, calibration, and quality systems experience is an asset
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
