  • Develop and maintain embedded firmware using C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded electronic systems.
  • Design and integrate microcontroller-based systems, including peripheral interfaces, sensors, communication modules, and electronic controls.
  • Lead PCB prototype development, board bring-up, hardware testing, debugging, and design validation.
  • Integrate electronic hardware with embedded firmware and third-party equipment to ensure reliable system functionality.
  • Work with communication interfaces and protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS-232, RS-485, and Ethernet.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other electronic testing equipment.
  • Support the integration of navigation equipment, sensors, and real-time monitoring and control systems.
  • Investigate hardware and firmware issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop technical documentation, schematics, engineering drawings, test procedures, and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, and production teams throughout product development and manufacturing.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices, design improvements, and development processes.
  • Support prototype testing, product verification, and occasional field testing.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Ideally 7–10 years of hands-on experience in electronics design, embedded systems, hardware development, or a closely related field.
  • Strong experience in PCB design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, prototype development, and board-level troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, including microcontroller-based electronic systems.
  • Practical experience developing and debugging embedded firmware using C/C++.
  • Experience working with microcontrollers, embedded processors, and associated hardware interfaces.
  • Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of serial communication protocols and hardware interfaces, including SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.
  • Experience integrating sensors, electronic modules, and third-party hardware into embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in using electronic testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently design, develop, test, and troubleshoot electronic hardware.
  • Experience supporting products through prototyping, verification, manufacturing, and production.
