Branch Manager – Industrial Pipe, Valve & Fitting (PVF) Distribution Location: Sarnia, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with weekend on-call availability as required About the Role We are hiring an experienced Branch Manager for an established industrial distribution company in Sarnia, Ontario. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in industrial pipe, valves and fittings (PVF), fire protection, plumbing and heating, or mechanical distribution. You will oversee a team of five employees, manage branch profitability, develop customer relationships, and ensure efficient daily operations. The role includes regular order entry, administrative duties, and occasional warehouse floor support. What We Offer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operations, including warehouse activities, counter sales, and outside sales.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of five employees.
• Oversee branch P&L, budgets, expenses, profit margins, and sales forecasts.
• Perform regular order entry and ensure accurate order processing.
• Manage inventory levels, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Build customer and supplier relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance and implement improvements to increase profitability.
• Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide hands-on support with warehouse and customer service activities when required.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of branch or operations management experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant industry experience in PVF, fire protection, plumbing and heating, or industrial mechanical distribution.
• Strong knowledge of industrial pipe, valves, fittings, grooved piping systems, hangers, strut, or fire protection products.
• Experience with P&L management, budgeting, inventory control, and sales development.
• Proven leadership, customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with regular order entry and order processing.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and blueprint-reading skills are assets.
• Must be available for weekend on-call support as required.
