Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (10+ years) to analyze and document business processes using Agile methodologies (RFR --DTS-)

Join a provincial government initiative supporting complex IT project teams and strategic business transformation efforts. This role focuses on requirements gathering, business process analysis, process re-engineering, user stories, and collaboration across technical and operational stakeholders in an Agile environment. The engagement supports large-scale public sector projects with onsite collaboration and cross-functional alignment.

Contract, Winnipeg, Onsite, Working Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm CST

Must Haves

• 10+ years working as a Business Analyst
• 5+ years documenting and conducting process analysis and process re-engineering
• 5+ years writing requirements, use cases, and user stories
• 5+ years working on projects in an Agile environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Commerce, or equivalent field

Nice to Have

• Accreditation from IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis)
• Knowledge of the Business Analysis Book of Knowledge (BABOK)

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to document business requirements
• Analyze and document current business processes and workflows
• Develop business cases outlining costs, benefits, and risks of proposed solutions
• Create functional specifications and user stories for implementation
• Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes and system enhancements
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to validate business requirements
• Act as a liaison between end-users, technical teams, consultants, and government organizations
