Job description
Our public sector client is seeking a Senior IM/IT Project Manager to lead implementation planning and delivery for Point-of-Sale and RPA initiatives.
Join a high-priority engagement supporting implementation-focused IM/IT projects within a national public sector environment. This role will support a software replacement and Finance RPA/Power Automate initiatives with multiple automation use cases. The client is seeking a senior-level consultant who can quickly integrate with stakeholders and support executive-level project delivery activities.
Contract, Remote or Hybrid in Ottawa (EST)
Must Haves
- 10+ years managing IM/IT projects and programs including implementation delivery
- PMP certification
- Stakeholder management and C-suite engagement within complex initiatives
- College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Project delivery across Point-of-Sale, RPA, or distributed systems environments
- Bilingual English/French
- CA Clarity Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) system
- Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems
- Retail project exposure
- Finance RPA or Power Automate project exposure
Responsibilities
- Manage IM/IT projects from initiation through implementation
- Support implementation planning and execution activities
- Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Track and manage project risks, issues, and change activities
- Develop project plans, status reports, budgets, and communication documents
- Liaise with stakeholders and external providers throughout project delivery
- Support project governance and stakeholder management activities
