Our health sector client is seeking a Senior Software Developer (7+ years) to design and deploy Qlik Sense BI applications using AWS, Redshift, S3, and Drupal integrations for public and secure reporting products

Join a large-scale reporting platform initiative focused on delivering public and secure reporting products through a modern cloud-based technology stack. This role supports the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Qlik Sense dashboards, visualizations, data models, and embedded BI applications integrated with Drupal web pages. The project includes AWS cloud integration, multilingual reporting, accessibility compliance, and scalable reporting solutions for external clients.

Must Haves

• 7+ years developing Qlik Sense BI applications, dashboards, visualizations, filters, tooltips, custom development, and extensions
• Extensive experience with AWS, Redshift, S3, and cloud-based deployment of Qlik BI applications
• Extensive experience with Qlik data models, QVD file creation, set analysis, and performance tuning
• Extensive experience integrating Drupal web pages with embedded Qlik BI dashboards using APIs and mashups
• Post-secondary education related to software development, computer science, or information technology

Nice to Have

• Experience with Qlik extensions including VizLib
• Experience implementing custom visualizations using Sense API, d3, and chart.js
• Experience with Qlik Management Console, including security rules, streams, apps, and task maintenance
• Experience working with UX wireframes and design standards
• Experience developing bilingual (Eng/FR) and AODA WCAG 2.0 compliant Qlik applications

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Qlik Sense visualizations, dashboards, reports, and data models
• Deploy and maintain Qlik BI applications within a cloud-based environment
• Integrate Qlik applications with Drupal web pages through mashups and APIs
• Develop and execute scripted test plans, scenarios, and test cases
• Analyze software deficiencies, change requests, and production issues
• Perform peer code reviews and participate in CI/CD pipeline job development
• Support application maintenance and end-user support activities
