Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused DZ Driver to join a manufacturing environment in a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced commercial driver who enjoys a mix of local and regional deliveries, customer interaction, and hands-on plant support when routes are not scheduled.

The DZ Driver will operate a single-axle straight truck to deliver materials across the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions, including Toronto, Scarborough, London, and Acton. Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a single-axle, automatic-transmission straight truck with a 14,000 lbs capacity for scheduled deliveries.
- Deliver materials to customers across Toronto, Scarborough, London, Acton, and surrounding areas, with occasional van deliveries as needed.
- Load, balance, and secure materials properly to ensure safe transportation and compliance with delivery requirements.
- Complete waybills, driver logs, customer signatures, and all required delivery documentation accurately.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance, safety, or operational concerns.
- Assist with plant, production, and material-handling duties when delivery routes are not scheduled.

Job Details:

- Pay rate: $20 to $26 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
