Senior IT Administrator

We are seeking a Senior IT Administrator to manage and secure critical IT infrastructure across a multi-site environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional with strong experience in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, virtualization, backups, and Microsoft environments.

Location: Surrey, BC

Salary: $90,000–$105,000
Work Arrangement: Multi-site / After-hours support required

What You’ll Do

• Manage Fortinet firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and network infrastructure
• Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and hybrid environments
• Manage VMware, Veeam, NAS, and backup systems
• Lead cybersecurity, incident response, disaster recovery, and Zero Trust initiatives
• Monitor systems using RMM and ticketing platforms
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to improve IT operations
• Support remote branches, end users, and junior IT staff
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology projects
• Troubleshoot critical issues and maintain system security, reliability, and documentation

What You Bring

• 5+ years of IT administration experience, ideally in a multi-site environment
• Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls, switches, and VPNs — mandatory
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Veeam, Microsoft 365, Azure, and enterprise networks
• Understanding of cybersecurity, incident response, and disaster recovery
• Experience with RMM tools, ticketing systems, and PowerShell
• Strong independent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Willingness to provide after-hours support for critical incidents and emergencies
• Ability to travel periodically to branches across Western Canada
