Job description

About Link Creative

Link Creative is a growing video production studio that helps local businesses and nonprofits tell stories worth sharing. Since launching in 2021, we've built our business through strong client relationships, creative work we're proud of, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience from start to finish.

We're a small team with big ambitions, and we're at an exciting point in our growth. As our client base and projects continue to expand, we're ready to welcome someone new to the team who wants to grow alongside us.

“Exceptional service and outstanding results. From the beginning, they demonstrated professionalism, creativity, reliability, and strong attention to detail... The final video was beautifully executed and exceeded expectations. We would highly recommend their services.” — Recent client

The Opportunity

This is a newly created role, which means you won't be stepping into a position that's been done the same way for years. You'll have the opportunity to help shape it.

You'll support the people and projects that keep the studio moving, from the first client inquiry through to the final video delivery. Along the way, you'll help local businesses bring their ideas to life and support storytelling that contributes to meaningful fundraising for nonprofits.

We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and gets genuine satisfaction from making things run smoothly behind the scenes. You'll work closely with our founders, have clear priorities and support as you get started, and have the opportunity to bring forward ideas, improve processes, and help shape the role as the business grows.

What You'll Do

• Be the first point of contact for new client inquiries, helping qualify opportunities and coordinate discovery calls.

• Prepare presentations and supporting materials for client pitches and discovery meetings.

• Coordinate video production projects from booking through final delivery, ensuring the right subcontractors, editors and resources are in place.

• Manage production schedules and logistics, keeping calendars organized, timelines on track and projects moving forward.

• Liaise with our editing team, monitor project progress and identify potential issues before they become bigger problems.

• Support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the studio, helping us stay organized as the business grows.

What We're Looking For

We're less concerned about whether you've worked in video production before and more interested in how you think, communicate and get things done.

• You're proactive and resourceful. When something comes up, your instinct is to explore solutions, use good judgment and bring forward recommendations rather than waiting for instructions.

• You're a confident communicator, both in writing and in person, and you know how to make clients feel informed and taken care of.

• You're exceptionally organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities, deadlines and moving pieces.

• You enjoy working in a small business environment where everyone pitches in and no two days look exactly the same.

• You take ownership of your work, follow through on commitments and know when to ask questions or flag an issue.

• You have a basic understanding of video production concepts, or you're willing and able to learn quickly. You don't need to know how to edit videos.

• You're comfortable using everyday business tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Familiarity with Wix is an asset, but not required.

• You have a valid driver's licence.

• Previous experience in video production is not required. We're hiring for initiative, organization, communication and the ability to learn.

Room to Grow

This role is a starting point, not a ceiling.

As you become familiar with our clients, projects and production processes, there's an opportunity to take on greater ownership of the full project pipeline, independently manage the production calendar and become a trusted first point of contact for our clients.

We want someone who's excited about growing their responsibilities as the business grows, and who enjoys making a meaningful contribution along the way.

The Details

Location: Home-based studio office with a private entrance, Abbotsford, BC.

Work arrangement: Minimum three days per week onsite for the first three months while you get up to speed, with the potential to transition to one to three days onsite per week thereafter.

Hours: 30–40 hours per week.

Start date: No earlier than November 2026.

Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience.

Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation, plus closed over the Christmas holidays.

How to Apply

We'd love to hear a little about your background, what interests you about this opportunity and why you think you'd be a great fit for our team.
